It is clear to any honest socialist that the " independent judiciary " - like the executive branch and the legislative branch of the government - like the entrenched two party system- is hardly independent of the ruling capitalist plutocracy . The " balance " here is intended to give THEIR system a high degree of stability.
The idea that THE LAW is above economic interests is just naïve nonsense.
THEIR system seems wonderful and " democratic " only to themselves in their Washington , D.C bubble world. For the privileged class everything is for the best in the best of all possible worlds .
" OUR democracy " , you say ?
