It is common knowledge that German Nazism finally corrupted the German nation . Likewise Zionism- a form of toxic nationalism- has corrupted a whole people living as FIRST CLASS CITIZENS among SECOND CLASS oppressed and poor Palestinians. Every Jew in the USA considers Apartheid Israel his or her second country . Not true ?
It is hard to find an international socialist intellectual Jew in these times. But " professional Jews " in contrast to Jewish professionals are everywhere and vociferous .
The old fashioned COSMOPOLITAN Jew would be embarrassed to be among the most ethno-centric people on the planet. Consult legal scholar Alan Dershowitz ( the pro-torture liberal ) on this . He complains that Jews are not yet FIRST CLASS CITIZENS in the USA. Who volunteers to be second class citizens here ?
I think Gore Vidal made these points in his many essays . Of course Vidal was denounced as " anti-Semitic ".
