I doubt very much that the vast majority of Catholics and Protestants do not see that the social thinking of Hitler- " Mein Kampf " - is the antithesis of Jesus and " The Sermon on the Mount ".
Socialists should not ignore the social dynamite TRUTH of the Gospels. But I do note how
vociferously GODLESS is the tone of American capitalism. Just a few years ago EVERY Republican candidate for president was singing the praises of Ayn Rand- famous for her " Virtue of Selfishness ". And the " liberal " Democrats were rather obsessed with Catholic Church bashing as if they could out Voltaire Voltaire : : " Crush the infamy ! ". A sad , moribund Church ?
