Too many state employees are being fired for rather trivial offenses against " political correctness ". I am sure there is another cozy position for this privileged Republican woman, Sue Stenhouse. There is still plenty of " freedom and prosperity " for them. The needs of senior citizens in Cranston -or anywhere else- are best served by individuals with more empathy and social intelligence. The helpless elderly should not have to depend on good natured high school kids-earning Brownie points-to survive these winter blizzards. A mean spirited DEMOCRAT - Gina Raimondo - has just allowed RIPTA to deprive senior citizens of an old benefit : the free bus ride.
There is no lack of man-power for snow removal after winter snow storms. A democratic socialist government could always draft a labor force for " community service ". These healthy young workers will be motivated by a sense of social obligation. Human labor performed wonders long before the invention of the Stock Market.
Even in brutal Nature group survival- species survival - rises above the puny, isolated individual. A lone wolf dies but the Wolf Pack lives on.
