Working class kids do not give capitalist governments creative ideas on waging war on the poor. I have observed in Kennedy Plaza that the poorest of the poor are most likely to be smoking or worse: picking up cigarette butts. Why not deprive alcoholics of Medicaid too ?
Cigarette advertising encourages this horrible addiction. Big Tobacco should pay the price for this public health catastrophe. A democratic Socialist government will impose a 100 percent tax on Big Tobacco companies.
Also, it will be illegal for medical doctors to refuse Medicaid or Medicare patients.
Ending the war on drugs will give poor people more freedom of choice in narcotizing themselves. There is a " right to happiness ".
