A simple matter of intellectual honesty for " socialist " Bernie
Sanders: If you do not challenge the moral legitimacy of " legitimate "
wealth, you are NOT any kind of socialist. When he attacked the two
party system -as the right and left hands of corporate America- Ralph
Nader was being more radical than Bernie Sanders. Pope Francis has
attacked the values of the FREE MARKET with more passion than Bernie
Sanders. And too many " leftist " Jews have made an idol out of the
Zionist state. Does the " security of Israel " rise sacrosanct over
simple justice for the displaced Palestinians ?
On capitalist wars read Eugene V, Debs great Canton Speech. Debs ran independently as a Socialist for U.S. president.I can't imagine him voting for Hillary or Bernie- as Democrats.
To the degree that he just continues to make sense to most American voters I give " critical support " to Sanders- not a fatuous endorsement.
