This right wing inspired mania for privatizing -running everything and anything as a FOR PROFIT business needs to be checked and condemned by citizens with a spark of COMMUNITY SPIRIT left in their souls.
The Ayn Rand crowd does not want the much maligned STATE to serve any but BUSINESS ends. The HELPING HAND of the Roosevelt New Deal just infuriates them. They want the STATE to be just what the Russian revolutionary genius said it was : a gang of armed men in the service of the wealthy ruling class ( Lenin ) .
They want to privatize prisons- making money on human misery and INCREASING the prison population. They want to privatize social security and Medicare- denying it as a human right.
They want to make life more comfortable and secure for the most self-serving, selfish, USELESS people on earth- our ONE PERCENT plutocracy.
In truth, WE don't need THEM ! Bernie Sanders for president ?
