CLASS oppression a big factor in mental crackups

Indeed whole books have been written by concerned mental health professionals about the massive failure of de-institutionalization, a seemingly " humane " project that began more than 50 years ago.
But the profession of psychiatry in America is now highly corrupt. These psychiatrists offer their advice to the CIA on how best to torture prisoners of war. Very few American psychiatrists have any serious quarrel with insane capitalism or its culture of violent narcissism.
Oddly enough, Chris Harper Mercer, the deranged Oregon community college mass murderer, describes himself as CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN hostile to organized religion. No Islamic influence here.
And yet his mother complained to the landlord about cockroaches in the apartment. CLASS oppression is also a factor here. And a good job is good for your mental health- however poor your DNA.
