Our mental health system stinks. Is this the best plan for dealing with
out of control mentally ill individuals with access to toy guns ? The
profession of psychology and psychiatry has been utterly corrupted in
capitalist America. The only " controversy " at the last meeting of the
American Psychological Association was its own public relations problem
after helping the CIA torture helpless prisoners of war.The APA should
be examining the human catastrophe of de-institutionalization.
