Effective gun control is only possible in a society that has collective control of industries which, of course, include the gun and ammunition making industry. A democratic socialist economy would never mass produce lethal weapons for the "free market". And socialism in general will create a sane society where there is much less reason not to LOVE THY NEIGHBOR.
