I found it interesting that a woman who self-described herself on local talk radio ( 630WPRO ) as " Jewish " said many Jews were quietly siding with Trump despite the old tradition of fierce loyalty to the Democratic Party .
I have an issue with Zionism, to be sure . The woman was happy that Trump finally recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel ( I just thought that was a FACT of ancient history ).
But the Jewish talk show caller could be the Nostradamus of the 2020 presidential election : The taken for granted Jewish voters switch en masse to the Republican Party ? An ironic movement toward political progress.
Perhaps these cultured , well informed Jews can finally see that hatefulness -and-irrationality - has taken over the Democratic Party.
