So much mostly unspoken TRUTH here. What sickens me is behind the phony " THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE ! " drivel is the capitalist news media's daily glorification of US militarism - a PERMANENT in " our " WAY OF LIFE ?
So many social problems can be fixed with that liberated military budget alone. But still no visible anti-war movement shouting in the streets of the nation : " JUNK THE US WAR CRIMES MACHINE ! ".
Again, the top leaders of the American military -advising Congress and Trump- are not less stupid than the French and German generals who planned " The Horror of Verdun " in the Great War more than a century ago . For us back then the fatuous Wilsonian blather : " a war to make the world safe for democracy ".
In 2019 just see how SAVED " democracy " was in 1917 with the Yanks going OVER THERE..
