What kind of political purism is this? Why doesn't WSWS know behind whom it has to stand when the breath of the fascist monster can be felt all over the continent? ]
I can imagine some partisan zealot eager to respond with a two hour speech here on a very frustrating reality. To be sure , the IDEA of socialism is in the air ; it lives and breathes. At age 71 I cannot pass myself off as an expert on the merits of numerous socialist ( " sects " to one another ) parties and organizations. It is only human to conclude that most members are subjectively honest and open to TRUTH if they can just find it.
ONLY the working class in upheaval can collectively decide which party or organization is supremely qualified to LEAD a socialist revolution.
The quarrels of these numerous " sects " are virtually meaningless to 99.99 percent of the working class.
All these socialist groups must build bridges , actively COMMUNICATE , in a respectful way to the faithful of the world's great religions.
What kind of " socialist democracy " is possible if 70 percent of the human race- who do not think " God is dead "- are snubbed and ridiculed by conceited and snotty " socialists " ?
I am sure the haughty " New Atheists " have no vision of a SOCIALIST future.
What is needed for now is fusion of various socialist groups into an international Labor Party.
No " dictators " or future Stalins need join !
