Bruce Jenner and " The Feminine Mystique "

letter- to- editor defending Bruce Jenner     I agree with the good priest, the Rev. Roman R.Manchester, that Bruce Jenner is a mentally disturbed MALE (as determined by DNA). And American psychiatry is too corrupt to permit any member of the profession-not a quack-to speak out as a medical doctor on this subject.
The writer shows the spirit of the New Atheism in thinking the priest is being HATEFUL here. The New Atheism does not apply logic and reason to our " Culture of Narcissism ". Like American psychiatry it implicitly accepts the values of free market capitalism-a disaster for humanity.
American psychiatrists are now almost useless to the police in identifying serious personality disorders. Check out the mass murderers who fell through the cracks in the brains of mental health professionals. Also, could they as scientists believe in a disembodied feminine soul? Rather sexist, is it not ? No God does not make that mistake.It implies that women are truly fundamentally different from men at BIRTH. Sell that to Betty Friedan, the author of " The Feminine Mystique ".
