There is such a contradiction between Governor Gina Raimondo's professed solicitude for the tragic situation of " The Dreamers " and her neglect of the truly needy working class people of Rhode Island. Does the state bureaucracy permit families in need of food benefits to go hungry until their new super modern state computer system gets its act together ?
How many poor working class kids - legal residents of Rhode Island - dream of not going hungry all day ? How many of the sick elderly here are not getting cared for because Medicaid bills are not processed by the inhuman machines ? And they fire state social workers - these oh so LIBERAL Democrats ? Shades of the Great French Revolution of 1789 . " Let them eat cake ! " Queen Gina ?
Shame on the Raimondo clique . They need heart and soul - not more unctuous image makers.
