In future national emergencies more use should be made of our RAILROADS


Irma Weakens Into Tropical Storm As It Grinds Through Florida


An interesting question was raised by the social media on the issue of PREPARATION for powerful hurricanes : why did the federal and state emergency planners not make more use of public transportation especially our once great and efficient RAILROAD SYSTEM ? What can beat that for mass evacuation ?
