I have been studying this amazing phenomenon of THOUGHT CRIME as the
Orwellian nightmare spreads to once liberal-now decidedly illiberal
-Brown University campus here in Rhode Island.The Brown Daily Herald
recently removed two columns by the same writer which violated the
sacrosanct principles of political correctness.
But as a democratic Socialist I note that all this mania for diversity is incompatible with the old New Deal concerns for economic justice and militant socialism's demand for economic equality, its emphasis on CLASS struggle.
By the way, how many arrogant New Atheists- who hate both God and Santa Claus -along with that arch-villain Christopher Columbus- are democratic Socialists ?
The spirit of Ayn Rand pervades political correctness demands.
