The Democratic Party has been in the vanguard of " taming " and destroying the labor movement in this country . No wonder the Clintons were so unpopular in the critical Rust Belt states.
The Democrats have made long retreat from FDR and the New Deal. Hillary Clinton deliberately ignored the working class in the 2016 presidential election- surrounding herself with generals , admirals, CIA chiefs, the Israel lobby, daffy Hollywood celebrities, and Wall St. billionaires . And Trump reaped the whirlwind.
