No " democratic socialist "
would encourage mob violence or carry a banner saying " We are
ungovernable "( anarchists ? ) But the American working class has been
betrayed by both the Democratic and Republican Parties.
Next May 1 militant workers will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 1917 Russian Revolution : " Ten Days That Shook the World ".
Presently, many democratic socialists are giving critical support to " socialist " Democrat Bernie Sanders.
But Bernie's " political revolution " is just part of the big picture of Democracy Spring.
" Unacceptable economic inequality " is a morally superior issue to Hillary Clinton's effete and fatuous " identity politics ".
Also there is still a vibrant anti-war movement in America opposed to the New Colonialism - the reality behind our endless " war on terrorism ".
We all believe in peaceful protests and peaceful progressive social change.
