I am a critical supporter of Bernie Sanders and I don't even consider
Hillary Clinton an acceptable " lesser evil " for whom to vote. But I
can offer an Edward Snowden inspired defense of Hillary in this e-mail "
scandal " : Above all, State Department " secrets " and confidential
correspondence are a ruling class conspiracy behind the backs of
whatever " democracy " exists in America. They are hidden from the
American public not in our own interests but in the interests of the
foreign policy elite.
Would working class Americans approve the drone killing of leaders of other countries like Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria ? Would working class Americans approve the New Colonialism in the Middle East with its daily crimes against humanity ?
It is painfully clear that our Memorial Days honor war far more than they do fallen veterans of insane wars : like the Iraq War and the Vietnam War.
This endless -and lost cause - " war on terrorism " is mostly a cover for this New Colonialism. That is Hillary Clinton's real " crime " as Secretary of State.
You can expect a revival of the American anti-war movement in the near future.
