I could never read the likes of the above article in any notably
left-wing " progressive " web site. Various " socialists " and old
fashioned liberal liberals would call it : " assisting the enemy...
giving aid and comfort to the enemy ".
Put on your NPR " popular democracy " hat ( which never comes out of the closet ) for a moment. How do you in the same breath explain the Trump-Sanders phenomenon in the 2016 Election ?
Answer : the long ignored- or invisible to the main- stream news media -American working class, especially the white working class, is waking up . And they are discovering no " friends of labor " in the political establishment of these two dominant RULING CLASS controlled political parties.
Class consciousness is, in the long run, irrepressible. And another " irrepressible conflict " is brewing in capitalist America.
At least " socialist " Bernie Sanders can ask this American ruling class : " Do you hear the people sing ? "
Effete and fatuous " identity politics " will not a put a woman in the White House in this election. And " class " is superior to race in explaining the rising " misery index " in America.

In this century we have another " irrepressible conflict " |
