President
Obama spoke about as eloquently as he could about the meaning of
Hiroshima. Whatever his more cynical emotions as Commander in Chief of
the New Colonialism his more thoughtful words will resonate with people
around the world actually serious about ending the threat of nuclear
war.
But just for the record : most honest scholars of American history reject the notion that " we " ( the U.S. ruling class ? ) just had to drop those atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki " for the greater good ".
Really now, ISIS can justify its own terrorism in a similar way- " saving Islam " . Ah, wretched HUMAN NATURE !
