[ "Police yesterday charged a Providence man and woman with failing to report the death of a woman whose body was found Sunday at the Howard Johnson Motor Lodge.
Donald A. Plante, 40, of 264 1/2 Washington Ave. and Carla Burns, 23, of 138 Indiana Ave. were arraigned before District Court Judge Victor J. Beretta.
Dawn Marie Upton, 21, who lived with Plante, was found on the bathroom floor of Room 210 of the motel, 20 Jefferson Blvd., by a maid. A state medical examiner later said Upton died by drowning.]
