I do expect a dramatic revival of a RECALLED TO LIFE anti-war movement in the United States. Never throughout human history have ordinary WORKING CLASS people started long, bloody wars. Wars are never fought for cant words - " freedom " , " democracy " , " sovereign nation " , etc. - the stuff of Pentagon produced Wilsonian blather. Any war with Russia or China or Iran or North Korea will be fought - without consent from " OUR democracy "- over very real very concrete American imperialist interests. Just as in previous wars soldiers on all sides will perish in horror with FALSE PHRASES echoing in their dying LIGHTS OUT brains. " Whose FREEDOM ? " the departing young soldier's ghost asked. Remember THIS on Memorial Day : We died for a BIG LIE ! Way back in 1917 the Russian Revolution inspired the workers of the world-furious over the bloody First World War- with feelings of SOCIALIST internationalism . It can happen again- and again in Russia !
