I commend former Rhode Island governor Lincoln Chafee for speaking out against yet another BIG LIE war . Chafee was just about alone among " progressive " Democrats in opposing the invasion and occupation of Iraq . Recall all those horrendous well hidden " weapons of mass destruction " ? Just this morning Rhode Island radio and TV news anchor, Gene Valicenti, commended Lincoln Chafee for his honesty and integrity - even if not quite in agreement with Chafee on key issues. I do not see ordinary working class Americans - who have been stressed enough in recent years by numerous flaws of " OUR democracy " - will get all fired up over far away SOVEREIGN Ukraine . Risk nuclear World War III for this nonsense ? Just let the mainstream news media recycle that old Wilsonian blather from the First World War - " the war to end all wars " .. " the war to make the world safe for democracy ". Have YOU been wallowing in FREEDOM lately in the COVID-19 era ? Have you had a whiff of " OUR democracy " lately ? What more do you want than " Sleepy Joe " Biden and the now very illiberal liberal Democratic Party ?
