On the Left myself I see traditional freedom of religion in the United States being undermined by vicious " identity politics " and the " political correctness " brainwashing of very ILLIBERAL universities -like Brown.

The New Atheists - with their ritualistic, conforming anti-Catholicism are curiously obtuse to Catholic social philosophy . I have not been introduced to one who is not a fan of Ayn Rand or is a pro-capitalist libertarian or a neo-liberal Democrat fond of " Hawk Hillary " ( who according to Wiki -Leaks, was conspiring with militant Zionists to " bring the Catholic Church out of the Dark Ages ").

The patron saint of the New Atheists ? The late Christopher Hitchens( ex-Trotskyist ) who wrote their cult classic : " God Is Not Great ... how religion poisons everything. "

Albert Einstein who was not an atheist wrote a famous essay titled : " Why Socialism ? " You cannot openly show contempt for religious faith and hope to get a hearing from religious people - still most of the people on the planet.
