Way back in 1989 science writer Isaac Asimov said in an interview (
on You Tube now ) that human caused global warming was the BIG science
news story of the year.
Asimov was no " international socialist
" but here he still sounded like one. He dismissed the very notion of
nation state " sovereignty " in dealing with an ecological challenge
that demanded WORLD GOVERNMENT.
