Any democratic socialist will point out to you that in this class
divided capitalist society there is no generic " taxpayer "- always hurt
by any increase in taxes and never helped by any government "
entitlement "- except those for the privileged class.
What is good for the ruling class is too often detrimental to the lives and economic good of the working and now disappearing middle class.
The Tea Party Republicans - the Ayn Rand " Virtue of Selfishness " fans- want government to be just what Lenin says it was in " State and Revolution " : essentially a body of armed men protecting and defending the property right of the rich..
Hillary is not even a New Deal Democrat . She is completely alienated from working class Americans.- like most neo-Democrats.
I support the Bernie Sanders message that existing economic inequality is unacceptable. Serious reform is, of course, preferable to the chaos of civil war.
A Brown University poll gives Hillary a clear victory over Bernie Sanders in Rhode Island. But is that poll any more accurate than the Michigan poll ? That Sanders victory shocked the political world.
