I think " democratic " socialist Bernie Sanders is a far more substantial
presidential candidate than neo-Democrat Hillary Clinton- a champion of
now stale -and even self-defeating- identity politics.
Hillary fans should not hope that hints of the old sexism -real or
imagined-will provoke landslide support for her in the remaining state
caucuses and primaries.
Hawkish Hillary is certainly capable of " bullying " in her pro-imperialist foreign policy. The issue of unacceptable economic inequality raised by Sanders is a very big one - not leftist fringe stuff.
Way back in 1965 Black Muslim Malcolm X made the connection between capitalism and racism, between imperialism and the oppression of black people.
If class trumps race, Bernie Sanders should win the majority of working class black voters. I note that Spike Lee, the director of " X ", endorsed him. So did celebrity black physicist, Neil De Grasse Tyson.
Many young female voters prefer Bernie to Hillary. Is there a female way to check Wall St. greed ?
