Hillary is in state of denial about the viability of her presidential
campaign. To use free market language she does not sell herself
well.
Like Arthur Miller's Willy Loman she would like " to be well liked ". She is not liked by Republicans. She is neither trusted nor liked by at least half of all potential Democratic voters.
In her debates with self-described " democratic socialist " Bernie Sanders Hillary Clinton cannot even pretend to be really antagonistic to Wall St. ( in general to the capitalist system.)
Telling Wall St, they " can''t have it all " does make her much different from the average federal judge. This is not Bernie's idea of " political revolution ". This is not even New Deal liberalism .
The neo-Democrats like Hillary are determined to wallow in stale identity politics. But the Michigan primary shock shows that class consciousness is awakening in capitalist America.
The two party system is in crisis.
