The ' political revolution " sparked by this enigmatic " socialist "
Democrat Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont will not fade away .
Whatever vitality and energy that can possibly be associated with the Democratic Party is now connected to " feeling the Bern ". But if Sanders stuns his supporters with an unexpected withdrawal and an unconditional endorsement of neo-liberal Hillary Clinton, the vacuity of the Democratic Party establishment will be exposed to all but the extremely obtuse.
Hillary cannot run with President Obama's blessing and start sounding like she has been influenced by the independent Left's view of what happened in America during the Obama era.
She can't sound like FDR in 1932 . On the contrary her campaign must become the voice of complacent, capitalist America . And her message will have a familiar Tea Party ( Ayn Rand ? ) ring : If you are white and not happily middle class " successful ", you have nobody to blame but yourself.
Don't expect a Hillary presidency to concern itself with " unacceptable economic inequality " or to show any ambition for a well earned Nobel Peace Prize . Question : where do all those angry , anti-establishment voters go ? What can " identity politics " do for them ?
