To say that socialism is all about " free stuff " is a shallow untruth. Human " effort " can be scientifically measured and there is no way apart from the Marx's " labor theory of value " to explain all this appalling economic inequality created by the capitalist economic system. In the final analysis, the " wealth of nations " is a collective product and it should be distributed on socialist principles.
People might be confused by hard and creative brain work . But even the brightest brain consumes as much power as a dull light bulb. Any free gifts of nature - some extraordinary talent- does not entitle you to a fortune.
