The polls in Michigan for recent Democratic Party Primary as useful as newspaper horoscopes !

Why were the polls so off in predicting a Hillary victory in Michigan ? I suspect a certain bias against Bernie Sanders. I am a registered voter in Rhode Island eager to vote for Sanders in the Democratic Primary.

A few weeks ago I read one poll that had Sanders winning here with 60 percent. Then just recently a Brown University poll showed a complete reversal with Hillary the clear winner.

I suspect that the Brown University poll is as inaccurate as that Michigan poll.

I do believe in useful, scientific polling. But a lot depends on a careful and large enough random sample of probable voters.

Also a Professor Profughi of Rhode Island College questioned the validity of the Brown University poll. ? What goes here ?

                           SHOCKED PRESS

[  " .......    Either way, this result will send a shock wave through the press. Heck, I’m a member of the press, and you might be able to tell how surprised I am. This will likely lead to increased news coverage of the Democratic race, which Sanders desperately needs in order to be competitive next Tuesday and beyond. "]
