The same writer now supports Hillary ?
The 2016 Election in the United States will be shaped by the " Angry American Voter " - with or without Donald Trump or Bernie Sanders after all these state primaries or caucuses.
No democratic socialist -fan or no fan of Bernie Sanders - would so viciously demean the middle aged, white working class supporters of Republican Donald Trump as these pro-Hillary " more love and kindness " Democrats. Socialists have a class analysis of " populist " movements - on the right or on the left. Hillary Clinton hopes that morally bankrupt " identity politics " will win her the White House on Election Day.
Even if the Sanders nomination never had much chance against the Hillary Clinton establishment machine, Sanders support in the Democratic primaries and caucuses is a good measure of voter alienation from the two party system.
I will vote for Bernie Sanders in the Rhode Island primary. Providence is becoming more and more like Detroit ,Michigan where Sanders shocked the political world with his surprise win over Hillary Clinton.
