Sanders of Vermont could possibly have written such an anti-white
working class ( " white trash " ? ) article demeaning the misguided ,
middle aged - oh-so white- supporters- of Republican Donald Trump.
So far Sanders has avoided the lows of neo-liberal ( Hillary supporting ? ) identity politics. In general, democratic socialists emphasize a class analysis of any political movement. In the final years of his life Black Muslim Malcolm X made a connection between racism and capitalism, between racism and U.S. imperialism.
Just a fact: most poor people in America are white. Public education alone fails to raise them up.Poor whites are not victims of racism. True. But they are victims of social class snobbery. Lenin was not a snob.
They too need a Labor Party in the USA - these poor whites.
