As a democratic socialist myself- and a critical supporter of Senator
Bernie Sanders of Vermont - I note that there is not much " class
analysis " of Donald Trump or his right wing political circus.
So " ignorant " working class people are fueling his campaign fires ? An inspired fascist movement is a product of capitalism in crisis , a political crisis of the ruling class. The ruling class in general promotes ideas and attitudes -and even ideas and leaders- profoundly hostile to the working class.
The voice of this ruling class finds it necessary - on reactionary Talk Radio for years now - to defend the wisdom of this capitalist system almost 24 hours per day. Decades ago ruling class voices made even " liberalism " a dirty word.
Ruling class voices inflamed public opinion against America Muslims and " illegal aliens " long before Donald Trump promised to " make America great again " as the next president of the United States.
War crimes have been committed against the people of the Middle East while Nobel Peace Prize neo-liberal Barack Obama has been president of the United States . And while neo-liberal ( now calling for " more love and kindness " ) Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State.
Because plutocrat Trump does not quite fit into the establishment of the Republican Party he has been made the victim of a hypocritical smear campaign. Where in his past did Trump display more unacceptable bigotry than all these obnoxious right wing Talk Radio celebrities ?
Hillary Clinton herself panders to race, gender, and sexual orientation. I am pleased that Bernie Sanders rises above stale identity politics and focuses on unacceptable economic inequality - affecting the vast majority of Americans.
