Our national boundaries - Polk vs. Lincoln ?

No democratic socialist should have a neurotic, paranoid attitude about sacrosanct nation-state boundaries. Our present boundary with Mexico was set during the " young imperialist " administration of President Polk - highly praised in a book I was browsing in a public library. I recall Abraham Lincoln having issues with Polk's war.

Is capitalism and imperialism even possible without reactionary nationalism ?

In Nature we see very porous boundaries between habitats. There are no " illegal aliens " even in the jungles. But life everywhere is still a struggle. Yet , what species wars on its own kind ?
Our bourgeois educational system makes a RATIONAL WORLD seem like a crank's utopia. Einstein was so right to despise this ruling class approved " education ".

" The Children of Sanchez " is still relevant -and a good read .
