David Walsh article on Philip Roth
The most brilliant literary critics of American capitalist society just happen to be Jewish. It is no accident . I am not familiar with Roth but the above article by David Walsh arouses my interest in him.
I am more familiar with Arthur Miller and " Death of a Salesman "- and his experience with the McCarthy era.
