This is a smart issue for Cranston Mayor Fung to raise . I actually voted for Mayor Fung in the last election just because nobody in my Knightsville neighborhood had anything bad to say about him ( also Allan Fung had no competition ). 

Buy why now the constant scream of police sirens within the city limits ? Driving around Cranston my friend and I joked about a CRIME WAVE in Cranston : " Did somebody just spit in the street ? " " Another bent license plate ? " . At the Cranston Public Library a congenial woman security guard greets you at the entrance. At times the public rest room is on lockdown ( The Homeless are Coming ! ) 

My friend grew up in a prosperous part of Chicago - but recalls daily trouble in its South-side . When will normally SLEEPY Cranston quiet down ?

Could Cranston, R.I. be the next Chicago, South-side ?
