Just the other day Providence Journal editor Alan Rosenberg announced THE END of online COMMENT . This smothering of the real PUBLIC VOICE was , of course , blamed on the public itself .
I think the once respectable newspaper has blotted out even COMMENT history.
Is this American police state worth dying for ? The FREE SPEECH tradition in the USA is hardly respected by Republicans or Democrats, on the Right or on the LEFT .
I guess TRUTH -even if ill mannered- is dangerously subversive.
