Just as in Nazi -Germany a whole people can be corrupted by toxic nationalism and a putrid belief in a divine ( ? ) right to lord over " inferior " people.
We are seeing a rigid DUMB conformity in otherwise intelligent people. Also I note that these " liberal " Democrats - ALL fellow travelers of Israel - as if in some collective trance- repeat the mantra of " Russia collusion ". EVIL Russia has hurt OUR " democracy " !
Hardly one INDEPENDENT voice in the mainstream news media. We are living in times of truly explosive social contradictions. Just who will have the last word on an economic system based on lies and brutality ?
Political wisdom for working class people can be summed up in one sentence : " Don't trust any PRIVILEGED group ".
Don't trust any " ambitious " political leader who would CHARM us into self-destruction. The American ruling class is in panic at the thought that their rotten capitalism cannot last forever.
" Homo sapiens " of the present is hardly fit to last another century . For millions THE MARKET is the equivalent of the Oracle of Delphi in ancient Greece. BUT THE MARKET is about as rational as your New York Times Horoscope.
The most educated class can no longer believe in objective reality. Not even Aristotle's Logic where A=A . That at least is a sound beginning.
Another " system " was recommended by the infamous Professor Harold Hill in the musical " The Music Man ". Good for All- American marching bands . A charmer that traveling salesman Harold Hill . At least he got the girl !
