The sexual McCarthyism witch hunt clearly has an out of control momentum of its own. Even the vicious mass media cannot CREATE feelings of rage with no basis in realty. Female rage at sexual misconduct is completely understandable- even if absurdly disproportionate to the particular offense. Could these emotions of rage GENERALIZE into CLASS based resentment of daily abuse, humiliation, exploitation, and oppression in all its ugly forms ? To be sure, working class fury will power an anti-capitalist revolution in the 21st century. The pattern is clear in these sex soap opera scandals : a PRIVILEGED male shows little RESPECT for a female vocational " inferior " subordinate. Is the every day job humiliation of working class males and females much different ? If " resentment " were made of dynamite, the capitalist system would blow up today.
