Way back in 1848 Karl Marx had a sardonic remark or two in the " Communist Manifesto " on how the male bourgeoisie treated women, their OWN women and the doubly exploited working class women. Engels vividly describes this nightmare abuse in " The Condition of the Working Class in England ". That book could have been published yesterday.
It seems that the normally stingy bourgeois males were not adverse to sharing wives- with adultery a class privilege norm.
This sexual McCarthyism is going berserk. In recent months three public school officials here in Rhode Island - just yesterday a woman( named Mercurio ) high school principal in Warwick- have been accused of failure to notify the state within 24 hours of any child abuse report. As for " saving " and " protecting " children from all forms of abuse no department of the state of Rhode Island is more dysfunctional than the DCYF .
The incident in Warwick involved a disturbed kid molesting other kids on a school bus. I read that " racism " was also a factor here.
That no human being should be treated as a mere sex object was a principle of " socialist " politics for a long, long time.
Sexual McCarthyism is turning people into dime dropping worms. Right out of Orwell's " 1984 ". ( Also from " 1984 " ... " most kids were rotten nowadays " ... " eaves dropping little sneaks ". )
And the root of the evil ? Think about capitalist property relations.
