Kevin Spacey and " sexual McCarthyism "

" Identity politics " is a long way from socialist humanism, religious or secular. Way back in the early 70s socialists parties were in the intellectual vanguard in raising consciousness about racism, sexism, anti-Semitism, homophobia. But they also connected the dots and analyzed these evils as a product of a profoundly irrational economic system.
ILLIBERAL LIBERALISM is the rule in Hollywood in recent years. It was not enough for film producers to tell sad truths about the Catholic Church, for example. Harvey Weinstein , I read, had to smear ,slander and persecute it in numerous films. You would think they were being influenced by the obnoxious " New Atheists " -like the late ex-Trotskyist ( ? ) and Islamophobe Christopher Hitchens, author of " God Is Not Great - how religion poisons everything " .
Also , this sexual McCarthyism is extremely cruel to individuals with a form of mental illness that makes them potential or actual pedophiles. They go untreated by the mental health system, are forced to live in filthy , unhealthy shelters which kick them out early in the morning. Whole books have been written - and ignored -about sexual witch hunting.
If our capitalist society cared so much about innocent kids, it would not corrupt them so early in life . Most working class kids experience public school as a soul destroying, mind destroying hell. And THE JOB waiting for them is not much better.

Also, if you are thinking about " starting a family ", you might consider protesting nuclear World War III .
