The oppressed know the truth about their own lives

Here we have the class enemy expressing a faith in the power of IDEAS that is rare among obtuse " liberal " Democrats and the pseudo-left.

  To be sure, ideas are all powerful when they are true.

            To be sure, up to a point ( a breaking point ? ) the ruling ideas are the ideas of the ruling class, as Marx said. But the common people -oppressed and exploited by capitalism - always know the truth about their own lives - even when they can never " read all about it ! " .
