There is very little attempt in the mainstream news media -even by Jewish journalists or columnists - to EXPLAIN the Holocaust or the long history of anti-Semitism. If you imagine that you are universally hated ( not true ) , you might openly ask WHY ? 

The Marxist explanation is -on the whole - the best. A decaying capitalist society needed scapegoats -and in Nazi Germany the Jews were the perfect fit. Hitler could associate them with BOTH international capital and Russian Bolshevism . 

Today they can be associated with both the " progressive " Left and Zionist Apartheid Israel. Too many intellectual Jews have fallen for the old sin of idol worship : uncritical regard for Zionist Israel. They have collectively silenced the voice of Jewish protest of 
Zionism - long ago declared a form of racism by the United Nations. 

How many American Jews accept Professor Howard Zinn's criticism of Zionism ? Even the late Isaac Asimov was cynical about Old Testament land claims on Palestine. 

The real " final solution " for anti-Semitism is global democratic socialism- a complete break with US imperialism in the Middle East.
