That women should always be treated with respect- that gay people should be treated with respect - that people of all races, ethnic groups, or religions should be treated with respect- was just axiomatic in the SOCIALIST movement a century ago.
That HATE was wrong and forgiveness of sin good was axiomatic in the New Testament 2000 years ago.
From the Old Testament : " Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor ". No wonder Roy Moore was so fond of that Ten Commandments monument - which should " offend " no militant CLASS CONSCIOUS socialist.
But it does look like Roy Moore needs all the " forgiveness " he can get. The New McCarthyism is now linked to " sexual McCarthyism ".
