I read from a credible source that Hillary Clinton's " triumph " over
" socialist " Democrat Bernie Sanders in New York last night was
comparable to landslides in the Banana Republic ( have your pick ).
In contrast to past political " wisdom " the establishment of the Democratic Party now seems to be freezing out not so predictable new comers - many enthusiastic about Sanders' " political revolution ".
The big picture is that of a crisis of the two party system that served so well the ruling class status quo. And which candidate is more the quintessential status quo than Hillary Clinton ?
If the problems of this society are to be solved peacefully -and with respect for law and order- we need a lot more popular democracy.
