Political illiteracy in this capitalist , brainwashed country is as rampant as science illiteracy. There is nothing in the past of President Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton which suggests an ideological attraction to militant socialism.
The " communism " associated with collapsed Soviet Union has been anathema on the democratic Left for decades now.
My case against the neo-Democrats is that they have betrayed traditional liberalism. Indeed the gospel of " political correctness " is downright illiberal.
Still Hillary is as over-vilified on the right as Donald Trump is on the left.
