If capitalism started with civilization, then it must have its roots in slavery. Slavery worked too - for the slave masters. How clever of the slave masters to end up with most of the wealth of the ancient world.
Marx wrote about modern " wage slavery ". Why not talk to a few working class people about this side of capitalism ?
